Milk powder price increased
Importers of milk powder say that they have decided to increase the price of milk powder. Accordingly, the price of a kilo of milk powder has been increased to Rs. 1300 and a 400 gram packet to Rs. 520. They say that the decision was taken after the government removed the control price of milk powder from midnight yesterday. They also informed the Consumer Affairs Authority about this.

Make the 13th Amendment fully operational – Indian Foreign Secretary informs President
Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has stressed that all the provisions of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution of Sri Lanka should be implemented in the same manner. A statement issued by the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka following the visit of the Indian Foreign Secretary said that the matter was brought to the notice of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa during a meeting with him. Indian fishermen attack Jaffna fishermen in North Sea
