Bora community leader met President
A meeting between the spiritual leader of the Bora community, Dr Seyedina Mufaddal Saifuddin, and President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa took place this morning (11) at the President’s private residence in Mirihana. Nearly one million members of the Bora community live in several countries, including India, Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Sri Lanka, and Australia. Why import of chemical fertilizers delayed?
The National Fertilizer Secretariat says that although permission has been granted to import chemical fertilizers, the relevant companies have not yet applied for it. An increase in tourist arrivals

Foreigners arrested with 250 kilos of narcotics
Another foreign fishing vessel carrying a large haul of narcotics has been seized by the Navy in the international waters.
