An expensive vehicle brought to Hambanthota port ignoring vehicle import ban in sri lanka. Here is the owners name….

A Japanese made Toyota Land Crusher jeep with a market value of over 60 million rupees has landed in Sri Lanka from the Hambantota port.

A spokesman for the Hambantota Port stated that the vehicle was brought by the US Embassy at a time when the import of vehicles to Sri Lanka has been banned.

He also said that the suspension of imports to Sri Lanka would not affect the embassy services. The market price of this vehicle duty free is around Rs. 1.5 billion.
