Rice mill owners have taken steps to increase rice prices once again
The Pettah Rice Wholesalers Association states that the revised prices have been increased by 15 rupees per kilo of Nadu, 10 rupees per kilo of Samba and 30 rupees per kilo of Kiri Samba.
However, the price of raw rice at Rs. 110 has not changed.
Accordingly, according to the new price hike announced by the rice mill owners, the new price per kilo of rice is as follows.
Nadu – Rs.130
Samba – Rs 150
Kiri Samba – Rs. 195
