Brazilian Health Minister attending UN General Assembly has been infected with corona

Brazilian Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga has been infected with the covid-19 virus.

Foreign media reported that he had been diagnosed with the disease while attending a UN General Assembly session.

The Brazilian health minister is said to have met with Brazilian President Jr Bolzoni about 19 hours before he was diagnosed with the disease.

Brazilian Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga, who has been infected with Covid-19, is currently under quarantine and reportedly wore a face mask every time he attended the session.

Marcelo Queiroga is the second person from the Brazilian delegation to the UN General Assembly to attend the UN General Assembly.

 A Brazilian diplomat who had previously attended the General Assembly session was also diagnosed with Covid-19 infection.
