US dollar selling price go beyond the 260 rupee limit in Sri Lanka

Today, the selling price of a US dollar has exceeded 226 rupees at a number of leading commercial banks in the country.

However, it is alleged that it is very difficult to open letters of credit for the same.

But the selling prices of state banks are shown as 204 rupees.

The dollar exchange rate is 204 rupees per dollar.

But Pettah exchanges are selling the US dollar beyond the 260 rupee limit.
