Corona corpse burial land in Ottamavadi filled Another land is being prepared in Ampara.

The Ministry of Health states that the space allotted for the burial of the body of the person who died of corona infection in the Ottamawadi area in Batticaloa is coming to an end.

Another 300 bodies could have been buried at the site, said Dr. Anwar Hamdani, Director of the Ministry of Health.

As a result, another site in the Ampara District has been selected for the corona burial.

He said the new site covers an area of ​​three acres and can bury about 2,400 bodies.

He said that 1470 bodies have been buried in the Ottamawadi cemetery so far and 1383 of them belong to Muslims and the rest to other nationalities.
