An Extraordinary Gazette issued about the gas market in Sri Lanka

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a new gazette notification for the sale of gas with effect from June 9.

Accordingly, traders should not refuse to hide or sell 12.5 kg gas cylinders while in their possession.

If the customer buys when he does not have the stock in his possession, it does not interfere with the supplier selling other range of cylinders.

It has also not blocked the sale of the recently launched ‘Premium Hybrid’ cylinder by Litro.
