The Mattala exit gate of the Southern Expressway has been temporarily closed.

This action was taken after few employees in the ticket counter were reported infected with COVID 19.

Expressway authorities say that the Sooriyawewa exit should be used instead of the Mattala exit. However, there is no obstacle to enter to the expressway from the Mattala entrance
