CID arrested former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and his brother Riaz Bathiudeen were arrested today morning.
Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that the arrest was made in connection with aiding the killers of the Easter attack on 2019-4-21.
Rishad Bathiudeen released a video on social media stating that he had not been issued an arrest warrant.
He also said that the Parliamentary Speaker was not aware of arresting him as a Member of Parliament and he is not informed on what charge he would be arrested.
