EU Condemns Unnecessary Use of Force on Peaceful Protesters

The European Union (EU) says it strongly condemns the unnecessary use of force against peaceful protesters.

 They say they expect the Sri Lankan government to be ‘fully compliant with GSP+ commitments.

The protest ground was brutally attacked by the armed forces yesterday morning. Unarmed protesters and international Journalists were harmed during the attack.
