Ceylon Petroleum Private Tanker Drivers Association has taken steps to transport fuel for Ceylon IOC filling stations all over the island 24 hours a day.
Its joint secretary Mr. Shanta Silva said that fuel will be transported to Cipetco filling stations only for essential services.
Mr. Shelton Fernando, President of the All Ceylon Petrol Station Owners Association, said that 90% to 95% of petrol stations are currently closed without fuel.
