Fitch Ratings says that although the Sri Lankan government looks strong in the parliament, the public support for them is weak.

 Fitch Ratings points out that there are many politicians of the Podujana Peramuna, who are very close to the Rajapaksa family, in the parliament and the government, so it could be a reason for further public opposition.
