Russia has decided to withdraw from the International Space Station.
Yuri Borisov, the new Director General of the Russian Space Agency, stated that his country plans to withdraw from the International Space Station after 2024.
America says that it is surprised by Russia’s decision.
US State Department spokesman Ned Price said the two countries’ space agencies regret the decision to end years of professional cooperation.
America says Russia is a good partner like other partners. However, the head of the Russian space agency said that the related decision is not the end of the US-Russia space relationship.
Many crucial scientific experiments carried out by the International Space Station were carried out under the leadership of the United States and Russia.
