Economic Crisis in Sri Lanka-The number of covid 19 patients increasing daily

The number of covid patients reported daily is increasing.

 The epidemiology department states that 75 patients were diagnosed yesterday (20) and 62 new patients were diagnosed yesterday (19).

 Three women have died and it has been found that all the three deceased were infected with covid 19.

Two of them are over 60 years old, while the other deceased are 30 and 59 years old.

The last time more than 50 patients were reported was on April 10 , 54 patients have been reported.

 On the 18th of this month, 34 patients were reported and on the 17th, 25 patients were reported.

Thus, by 10.00 am yesterday (20), the total number of Covid patients in Sri Lanka is 664,572.
