Fuel crisis in Sri Lanka -A person died in a Fuel queue and A clash between Army and Police security officers

A person who was queuing at a petrol station in the Batagoda area in Kalutara has died. A 63-year-old man died while waiting in line for fuel for five days. The man was found dead in the driver’s seat of a lorry.

Meanwhile, a clash has taken place between an army officer and a police officer attached to the security of a petrol station in the Dummaladeniya area in Warakapola.

 The injured police officer has been admitted to the Warakapola Hospital. The Army lieutenant has been arrested by police on charges of assault.
