Another ship carrying diesel and petrol will arrive in Sri Lanka today

Another ship carrying diesel and petrol will arrive in Sri Lanka today (13), the Ministry of Energy said.

Its secretary, K.D.R. Ms Olga said the payments had not yet been made.

The ship will carry 20,000 metric tons of diesel and 20,000 metric tons of petrol. The ship with 38,300 metric tons of diesel currently unloading at the port will be fully unloaded today (13).

She said they were unable to make an oil landing yesterday due to a technical fault. The payment of $ 52 million has already been paid for it.

Due to the increase in the price of crude oil in the world market, an additional $ 16 million had to be paid to obtain that stock of fuel.
