Police have arrested a man for allegedly threatening to kill Lanka People’s Front MP Geetha Kumarasinghe.
A 60-year-old resident of Thotakanatta has been arrested by the Uragasmanhandiya Police.
The suspect had gone to the MP’s house and scolded her for not giving her a loan and threatened her with death, police said.
The arrested suspect will be produced before court, police said.
