Dulan Sameera Sampath alias Abba, a large scale drug dealer has been killed in a shootout with the Police Special Task Force.

The shooting took place in the Egoda Uyana area in Moratuwa this morning.

A police officer who was injured in the shooting has also been hospitalized.

The smuggler, who was seriously injured in the shooting, died after being hospitalized.
