Sri lankan government is going to regulate Tik Tok?

The time has come to regulate social media, says Labor Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.

He also said that the cultural, national and social catastrophes caused by social media today should be taken into consideration.

He said that today there is a social network called Tik Tok and the government should pay attention to the disasters that have occurred on social media in this manner.

However, he did not say that social media should be banned and that a program should be formulated to regulate this.

He said this while he was addressing a debate in Parliament on several bills, including the Criminal Procedure Code Amendment Bill.
