Italian President Sergio Mattarella has been elected for a second time.
He received 759 votes in the parliamentary election to elect the President.
The parliamentary election to elect the new President was held over six days in eight phases.
In the final round of voting, more than a thousand lawmakers and local representatives voted in favor of electing the president, a candidate who needed 505 votes to win.
Incumbent Sergio Mattarella won with 759 votes.
