The use of firewood for food preparation has been introduced in leading star hotels in Colombo.

 It is reported that several leading hotels including the Gallface Hotel have started cooking with firewood due to the shortage of gas.

There is a shortage of gas across the country and gas companies say the shortage will continue for another two to three weeks.
