The District Disaster Management Office says that 03 houses have been damaged due to a night storm in the Nainathivu area in the Velanai Divisional Secretariat Division in Jaffna.
Three houses were partially damaged and fourteen people were injured in a typhoon in the J-35 area north of Nainativu, disaster management officials said.
The Jaffna Disaster Management Office said that the roofs of the houses collapsed due to the cyclone and property was damaged and steps have been taken to provide facilities to the affected residents.
