The Frontline Socialist Party states that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa recently paid a state visit to India on a private plane.

 According to Pubudu Jayagoda, the party’s publicity secretary, the plane was a private jet from Uganda to Ratmalana in Sri Lanka, according to the airport’s social media account.

He added that it was a mystery as to who owned the aircraft.

He made these comments at a media briefing held at his party headquarters.
