People in North Korea are not allowed to smile for 11 days

 Foreign media have reported about a country that banned its citizens from even smiling for 11 days. That country is North Korea ruled by Kim Jong Yun.

Foreign media have reported that an 11 day mourning period has been declared in memory of his father Kim Il Sung.

The mourning period has been declared from December 17.

During this period, the people of the country are prohibited from drinking alcohol and engaging in shopping.

 It is also reported that it is forbidden to engage in recreational activities or any celebrations during the mourning period.
