A father and daughter of the same family have been killed in a car accident in the Galanigama area in Millaniya on the Southern Expressway. Three others were injured in the accident, police said.
A car traveling from Matara to Colombo on the Southern Expressway on the Kataragama Pilgrimage had collided with a security fence near the 18th km post at Millaniya at around 1.30 am today (15).
A 39-year-old man and his four-year-old daughter and her father were killed in the accident in Rerukana, Bandaragama, police said.
