Pakisthan is dangerous for foreigners -A Sri Lankan man has been beaten to death and set on fire

A Sri Lankan man has been beaten to death and set on fire by a group of factory workers in Sealkot, Pakistan, the Express Tribune website reported.

Sialkot District Police Officer Umar Saeed Malik said that the victim was identified as Priyantha Kumara, a Sri Lankan. He is said to have lived in Sialkot.

The incident took place on Wazirabad Road in Sialkot, where private factory workers allegedly assaulted the export manager of a factory and then burnt his body to death.

The Pakistan Punjab Police have not yet revealed the motive behind the murder of the Sri Lankan.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bussard, referring to the assassination, said it was a “tragic incident”.

The Punjab Police has been directed to investigate and file a report on the incident. Action must be taken against those who take the law into their own hands. ”

The Punjab Chief Minister has stated that the report of the Express Tribune website further states. He has also ordered a high level inquiry into the incident after calling for a report from the IGP on the inhuman incident that took place in the Sealkot area.

Pakistani media reported that a police team had been sent to the area to control the industrial situation. Although the Pakistani Express Tribune reported that the Sri Lankan had been killed on defamation charges, a Sealkot police spokesman said information would be shared with the media after a preliminary investigation.
