Two people infected with the Omicron Covid genus have been reported from neighboring India.
According to Indian media reports, the two victims were foreign nationals from the state of Karnataka.
The Omicron variant, which was first discovered in South Africa a week ago, has now spread to 31 countries and territories around the world.
