Parliamentarian Chaminda Wijesiri has stated that a person by the name of Thiru Nadesan had threatened him over the phone after commenting in Parliament about Pandora papers.

He also said that he had complained to the police as he felt that the call was life-threatening.

He further said that although the complaint has not been investigated so far, only the Secretary to the Prime Minister has inquired, he said.

He also requested the Speaker to conduct an inquiry into the incident as it was a breach of privilege to avoid him.

He further said that the Secretary to the Prime Minister Uditha Lokubandara had said that it was Thiru who spoke.
