Despite being fully vaccinated, the Indian government has decided to impose a 10-day quarantine period on British nationals arriving in India.
The Indian media reported that the law will be implemented from next Monday. The decision was prompted by a dispute over quarantine rules between Britain and India.
The British government has said that people who come to Britain with the Indian-made covichield vaccine should be quarantined.
India had objected to the decision of the British government and the Indian government had subsequently imposed the new quarantine law on the British nationals, foreign media reported.
