Rajiv Gunaratne, head of GENXT, Apple’s official distributor in Sri Lanka, says it will not be possible to buy low – cost mobile phones in the future.
He says that due to the new restrictions, there will be a huge shortage of mobile phones in the market and through that the prices will go up significantly.
He also said that only a few large scale entrepreneurs would be left and small scale entrepreneurs would collapse.
He made these comments in an interview on a youtube channel.
