Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara was summoned by the CID to inquire into a complaint received alleging that he had made false statements regarding the local drug production and anti-corona program and that his lawyers had informed that he was suffering from corona.
The special feature of this event was that the Legal Secretary of the Samagi Jana Balawega, President’s Counsel Thisath Wijegunawardena came to the CID on behalf of Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara.
Although he was called to the CID yesterday, he had requested for 14 days.
