A written notice has been sent to President to lock down the country

The Sri Lanka Medical Association says they has sent a written notice to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to lock down the country to control the spread of the corona virus.

Its decision was informed to the President in writing on the 11th, said its chairwoman Dr. Padma Gunaratne.

She said that she had informed the Minister of Health, the Secretary of Health and the Director General of Health Services about this.

She stated this at a media briefing held in Colombo.
