Mrs Kaushi Wedikarachchi was recently appointed as the Coordinating Secretary to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

It is reported that many members of the Prime Minister’s staff are uneasy over the appointment due to a lack of clarity on how the appointment was made.

It is learned that the personal staff of the Prime Minister as well as the staff of the Prime Minister are not adequately aware of this.

However, Kaushi Wedikararachchi had posted on her social media account how she received the appointment letter from Mahinda Rajapaksa.
