Billionaire Sir Richard Branson’s company was developed a space ship called the Virgin Galactic rocket plane for 17 years and he has successfully reached the edge of space on his newly designed rocket plane.
The tour took above New Mexico in the US and returned safely to Earth just over an hour after leaving the ground. He said that it was an experience of a lifetime in a press conference.
He beat Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and SpaceX’s Elon Musk by being the first of the new space tourism pioneers to try out their vehicles,
