He says that at a time when the country is facing a foreign exchange crisis, parliamentarians should be ashamed of submitting a proposal to the Cabinet to import these luxury vehicles and that Sri Lankan politicians and officials do not feel the grief of the people. Although even some politicians have said thcancelled difficult to cancel letters of credit for vehicles, he says that letters of credit can be easily canceled. Head of “world’s largest family” dies- Ziona Chana

Ziona Chana 76-year-old Indian man who was believed to be the head of the world’s largest family has died in India’s Mizoram state on Sunday. The family lives together in a four-storied building called “Chuuar Than Run” or New Generation House, with 100 rooms. His wives share a dormitory near Chana’s private bedroom, according to local media.

Monk protested in the middle of the road

A change in the methodology of reporting covid deaths

The Director-General of Health Services, Specialist Dr Asela Gunawardena says that all future deaths related to covid will be reported on the same day within the last 48 or 24 hours. Sri Lanka Navy Arrested three individuals with 71 million worth of Kerala cannabis

The Navy arrested three suspects with a stock of Kerala cannabis worth nearly 71 million rupees in a raid carried out today morning (June 14) During the raid conducted in the seas north of Point Pedro, 237 kilos and 500 grams of Kerala cannabis were found and the dinghy transporting Kerala cannabis was also taken into custody by the Navy. The suspects had dumped six sacks of Kerala cannabis in the sea and the Navy and the Coast Guard conducted a search of the area and found them. The three suspects are aged between 28 and 29 and are residents of Point Pedro.

A VIP body has cremated by thrown another body out of the crematorium

. It is reported that the corpse of a corona infected person who had been placed for cremation at the Matugama Panthiya crematorium has been taking out and another body brought in a VIP has been cremated. The incident took place when the body of a 93-year-old woman who died of corona infection was brought to the crematorium by a hospital ambulance for cremation. Corona’s body has been taken out and placed in an ambulance for cremation until the VIP body is cremated. The public health inspectors are helpless due to an order that came from a higher authority above them. Bahrain suspends work permits for Sri Lankans
