Because Vaccination in Sri Lanka ignores the recommendations of the World Health Organization Productivity will decreases

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) points out that the recommendations made by the World Health Organization (WHO) are being ignored when injecting corona in Sri Lanka.

Dr Anuruddha Padeniya said that although the World Health Organization (WHO) has strongly suggested that strategies be adopted to reduce the number of critically ill patients, reduce deaths and hospitalizations, their ineffectiveness has posed a serious threat to the epidemic.

The effectiveness of vaccination in Sri Lanka has decreased due to the lack of priority given to places where the virus has emerged, political interference and non-priority given to those with non-communicable diseases, he said.

He added that 70% of the country’s population should be vaccinated.

He has pointed this out during a discussion with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
