Police found another family who escaped from India to Sri Lanka

Police have found another family hiding in a house in Gurunagar, Jaffna after escaping to Sri Lanka from India in fishing boats.

Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana stated that it is suspected that they had arrived in the country on the 7th of this month.
The woman was 61 years old and shes with her 34 years old daugher and two boys aged 9 and 5.

The police spokesman further said that the group had arrived from Rameshwaram in India in a fishing boat and then returned to Mannar in a Sri Lankan fishing boat and headed for Gurunagar.
