A Madrasa school violates health guidelines
Police have (May 13) raided a madrassa school in the Maligawatta area where students were being brought to study in violation of health guidelines. Maligawatta police officers warned the owner at the Madrasa school. He and three others, including the were quarantined inside the school’s hostel.

Seruwila Thero who went to India for surgery passed away of corona infection
Seruwila Mangala Rajamaha Viharadhipathi And chief Patron of the Palugama Meditation Monastery, of the Pannaradhana Sanghanayake of the Eastern Province, Lecturer Thamankaduwa Ven. Munhene Mettarama Nahimipano passed away in India due to a Covid infection. At the time of his death, the 62-year-old Mettarama Thera was on his way to India for surgery. Koggala’s was told that it was not necessary to wear face masks in the vehicle when members of the same family were travelling together. He further explained that face masks should be worn in the vehicle only when members of different families or two unknown passengers in a private vehicle. The Health Promotion Bureau has instructed that only two passengers, except the driver, be allowed in the vehicle. Before getting the vaccine, the doctor at the injection site should be informed about the diseases he has and gets the necessary advice. Do not strain unnecessarily until at least three days after receiving the vaccine. If you have a normal fever, take two paracetamol tablets. If the fever persists for more than 48 hours, seek medical treatment. If you have any other complications after getting the vaccine, see a doctor. Bathing is not a problem if there is no fever. If there are people with chronic diseases, get the necessary medicine on time. There is no prescriptive drug that will stop the flow of emotions, though their effects can be curtailed. Always wear a face mask. Follow the rules of health. Keep the card provided at the injection site to receive the second dose.
A woman who went to a house to attend a service was infected with corona
A woman who came to a house in Wellampitiya to attend a service conducted by a pastor using zoom technology has been diagnosed with the covid infection. Wellampitiya Public Health Inspector Ajith Vithanage said that the woman and her husband were identified as infected after a PCR test. Accordingly, members of six families who participated in the service have been sent for 14 days of quarantine as her associates. The pastor who conducted the service using zoom technology was also summoned to the scene and the public health inspectors advised him to come to the office of the Chief Medical Officer for further investigations.
Police found another family who escaped from India to Sri Lanka
Police have found another family hiding in a house in Gurunagar, Jaffna after escaping to Sri Lanka from India in fishing boats. Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana stated that it is suspected that they had arrived in the country on the 7th of this month.The woman was 61 years old and shes with her 34 years old daugher and two boys aged 9 and 5. The police spokesman further said that the group had arrived from Rameshwaram in India in a fishing boat and then returned to Mannar in a Sri Lankan fishing boat and headed for Gurunagar.
