Indian corona variant is the most deadly and most endangered variety and it has spread throughout the country and that the whole country is in a danger, Dr. Eranga Narangoda, Chief Physiotherapist, Corona Treatment Center, Homagama stated.

He said that now beds in the Homagama hospital were filed and the intensive care units were overcrowded and there is a lack of oxygen and at present, there is no equipment in the local market including oxygen containers and all of them have been purchased.

He further added that this could have been brought under control if the country had been completely closed down and the airport had been closed down.
