Scientists in Sri Lanka have invented a machine that can detect corona infections in 30 minutes.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology has developed a device that can quickly identify people with corona infections. The design was made by a team including its senior scientist Kasun Prabuddha.

He says the new design can detect an infected person within 30 minutes and test several samples at once. Arrangements have already been made to start the production of the machine.
