8,000-10,000 infections will be reported daily in the coming days; the pandemic will get out of control – Sudarshini Fernandopulle

If people continue to act without discipline despite the health guidelines issued for the control of corona, there is a risk of 8,000-10,000 cases being reported per day in the next few days; State Minister of Coronation Dr Sudarshani Fernandopulle stated.

The Minister said that these numbers would be recorded if an infected person spreads the virus to four more people a day and if the people are not aware of the spread of the virus.

However, she said that there was still a possibility of controlling spreading in the country and if the people acted without self-discipline, it would increase within the next two weeks.
