The government has decided to conduct Rapid antigen tests at 12 entry and exit points to Western Province

To control the spread of the COVID 19 virus between provinces and districts people entering and leaving the Western Province will be subjected to rapid antigen testing from 12 noon today(April 29); Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana stated. This will conduct as a joint operation of the Police, the Armed Forces and the Health Services. Accordingly, the tests will be conducted at following selected locations and the public will be directed for a random rapid antigen test, the police spokesman said. Michael Collins Dies; Apollo 11 astronaut – Unsung hero of the first Moon landing

Michael Collins who was a one of the three members with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin garnered in first manned mission to moon on 16 July 1969 has died at the age 90; his family reported. According to the family reports he has been fighting with a cancer for a long time and he was the only surviving member of the mission. In Apollo 11 mission Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on the Moon while Collins commanded the module throughout the mission.
