Oscar award ceremony held today in Los Angeles USA today. Chloe Zhao, who directed the United States in Nomadland, became the first Asian woman and only the second woman ever to win best director at the Academy Awards on yesterday.
The Best Actor award went to Anthony Hopkins for his role in ‘The Father’ film. Meanwhile, ‘Frances McDormand’, who acted in the film ‘Nomadland’, won the Oscar for Best Actress in 2021. Yu-Jun-Yun won Best Supporting Actress for Minari film, while Daniel Kaluya won Best Supporting Actor for Judas & the Black Messiah.
