44 individuals have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus in the Mallawagedara area in Divulapitiya, Gampaha and 162 associates of those infected have also been subjected to PCR testing.

According to the Health Department, it is reported that the infected individuals were participated on a trip in Aluthnuwara recently.
