The corona infections in Sri Lanka will be as serious as they are in India in next few weeks; the Association of Public Health Inspectors stated.

Districts including Colombo,Jaffna,Trincomalee and Puttalam are already at a high risk, Upul Rohana President of the association pointed out.

Even the daily test number is reduced now the number of PCR tests and random tests should be increased at least to 10,000.

He added that a high level of corona can be expected in the coming weeks as public behavior during the New Year season has been disregarded for health and safety practices.

Meanwhile, Army Commander Shavendra Silva states that wearing masks is mandatory in the coming months
