Police arrested Five Chinese nationals including a female in connection with operating an illegal gambling center located down Lauris Road in the Bambalapitiya Police area.
Arresting was done after a special joint operation conducted by the Bambalapitiya and Colpety Police, Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said.
According to the Deputy Police Chief, a total of Rs. 1 million and 88,500 and a total of 2600 Chinese Yuan were seized from the gambling center.
