Michael Collins Dies; Apollo 11 astronaut – Unsung hero of the first Moon landing

Michael Collins who was a one of the three members with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin garnered in first manned mission to moon on 16 July 1969 has died at the age 90; his family reported. According to the family reports he has been fighting with a cancer for a long time and he was the only surviving member of the mission. In Apollo 11 mission Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on the Moon while Collins commanded the module throughout the mission.

An Australian man Richard Puseyhas received a 10-month jail sentence for filming and mocking police officers while they lay dying after a crash. He was pleaded guilty to the rare charge of outraging public decency and judge called his actions as “heartless, cruel and disgraceful”.BBC The 42-year-old man who is a resident of Melbourne has already been in custody for nearly 300 days, and because of that he will complete his sentence within few days. “The mortgage broker had been speeding in his car on a Melbourne freeway last year when he was pulled over by four officers.While they were making his arrest, all four were struck by a lorry that had veered out of its lane.Senior Constables Lynette Taylor and Kevin King, and Constables Glen Humphris and Josh Prestney died at the scene.Pusey had been standing a few metres away and avoided the crash, but afterwards pulled out his phone and began filming numerous videos, some of which ran for more than three minutes.The court had heard that Pusey stood over and taunted Senior Constable Taylor as she remained pinned under the lorry.
