The quarantine period for the people coming from foreign countries will be changed; The Ministry of Health

There are plans to extend the quarantine period for people coming to Sri Lanka from abroad; Dr. SM Arnold, Deputy Director-General of Public Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health said.

This would help to identify infected people from abroad before entering the country he further added.

Dr. SM Arnold, further said that if people did not comply with the Covid control guidelines issued by the health department, travel restrictions would have to be imposed island-wide.
