Two Female dead bodies switched in a hospital- A tempered situation occurred
Two bodies of women have been switched at the Nikaweratiya Base Hospital. The bodies of an 81-year-old woman residing in Mahawa and a 67-year-old woman residing in Nikaweratiya have been switched like this They said to media that the hospital did not provide a proper response and had lodged a complaint at the Nikaweratiya Police Station. Another 11 Covid deaths have been reported, the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena stated. Accordingly, the number of Covid deaths reported from Sri Lanka has risen up to 678.
